Situated near Mount Fuji, Hakone is well known for its onsen hot springs. Our trip consisted of a stay at one of older ones in the area. The way up was an adventure in it of itself as we ventured deeper by rail transit into the mountainous thicket, eventually getting engulfed in the thick foggy atmosphere.
