Several years back, we were considering a pitch to expand the New World map, driving the expansion towards a Viking theme. The direction never materialized, but we spent a few months exploring a lush Scandinavian, tundra landscape covered in snow & ice. The following set of concepts depict mood paints, some initial ideas for architecture & scenes capturing gameplay mechanics centered around gliders & mounts.
